Hardware schematic

FlySight's hardware schematic is divided into the following sections:

  • Power Supply
    the main power supply as well as a low-current power supply used to retain stored settings
  • Charging
    FlySight's lithium polymer charging circuit
  • Reset
    the switch which resets the AVR microcontroller
  • MCU
    the AVR microcontroller and support circuits
  • Indicators
    red and green LEDs
  • Audio
    amplifier and connection to the 3.5 mm jack
  • Flash Memory
    microSD connector
  • GPS
    the u-blox NEO-6Q and support circuits
  • Misc
    outline of external components
